Psychological services

The need for School psychological services has risen since the 2014 student healthcare law’s activation. The availability of these services are restricted by the bottlenecks in recruitment and the career changes of the psychologists. For example, psychologist might want to specialize and need leave from service. Hence, there might be temporary need for an external service provider. Occasionally statutory duties increase need for temporary staff. Psychological Association in Finland recommends ratio of 1 School Psych/500 pupils. The Government of Finland has promised to include biding ratio for School Psychologist in the upcoming Social and Well-fare reform.

I will answer to these needs by offering psychological services at the premises of the host organisation, using their equipment. The patient data collected during the assignment will be archived into the host organisation´s patient data systems.
